It is not for you if…

A planned migration, not an improvised one
A botched migration means a site that’s down, lost email or Google rankings that collapse. I prepare every step and test the site on the new environment before switching over.
- Full backup before anything else
- Tests on the new host before the DNS change
- Redirects and indexing checks after go-live
Moving a WordPress site to a new host, changing domain or switching from Wix to WordPress: every WordPress migration follows the same rule, which is to test before you switch.

Frequently asked questions
How do I move a WordPress site to another host?
Back up the site, copy it to the new host and test it before changing the DNS. Then switch over and check email, SSL and forms.
Does a migration hurt SEO?
Not if the domain and URLs stay the same and the site stays online. If the domain or URLs change, 301 redirects preserve your rankings.
How much does a WordPress migration cost?
The price depends on the size of the site, the number of environments and the mailboxes to move. You get a fixed-price quote.
How long does a migration take?
Copying and testing take the most time. The switchover itself is quick, with little or no downtime.
Can I move from Wix to WordPress?
Yes. The content is moved over, the pages are rebuilt in WordPress and the old URLs are redirected to the new ones.
